Romeo and Juliet

Romeo & Juliet has special resonance with both our EPIC Players and the times we live in. Being excluded, shunned or hated just for being who you are seems to be a timeless problem for humanity, one that we have yet to conquer. And the possible impacts and ramifications are immeasurably expanded by our immersion in the world of social media.

So setting Romeo and Juliet in today's world was a natural choice, especially because Romeo and Juliet are teenagers, and genZ is the social media generation. Viral videos, anonymous texts, violent and humiliating images surround us. R&J reminds us that the only way out of this mess is love.
